Here’s how the 36 ft Schulte THX360 and 60 ft THX600 till harrows improve your post-harvest and pre-seeding prospects. Both tear through heavy, post-harvest straw and chaff, improving your field’s water penetration, soil warming, and weed germination for pre-seed burn-off. It’s a two-step, two-wave process:
- A single row of 20 inch, 10-degree concave discs on 8.5”inch spacing hits the ground, sizing the straw and mixing the chaff into the top layer of your soil.
- The five-bar heavy harrow evenly distributes, levels and breaks up residue the discs discharged with its 5/8 x 26 inch tines.

- 4-bolt service-free hub: Includes a rubber torsion shank, specially designed to follow the ground and last long.
- Single point depth control: Simple slide movement sets disc depth.

Spring, Manual Hydraulic or Electronic Hydraulic Harrow Force Control: All three options increase or lessen the force against your harrows, due to ground conditions. The spring option adjusts harrow-spring down pressure only. The two hydraulic options allow you to move the tines up or down via the hydraulic cylinders. The manual option works via a valve on the hitch, and the electronic option is controlled from your tractor cab.
- Cable-Free Wing Knuckles: No more catching. Cast-iron knuckles feature a hydraulic-actuated lock with a lock pin to prevent unwanted actuation while you’re working.
